12 March 2010 » A pre-premiere screening of the film The Glass River (Bulgarian: Staklenata reka) was held at the Lumiere Cinema in Sofia, Bulgaria. The film features Stefan Valdobrev playing the part of Father Petar. It is directed by Stanimir Trifonov and also stars Natalia Dontcheva, Ivan Laskin, Stefan Danailov and Zahary Baharov. The screening was part of the 14th International Sofia Film Fest's Bulgarian Features programme.

7-8 November 2009 » Theatre 199 in Sofia, Bulgaria staged the premiere of the performance Pleasantlyscary (Bulgarian: Priatnostrashno) by Iana Borisova, directed by Galin Stoev. Stefan Valdobrev is acting in it alongside Snezhina Petrova, Radena Valkanova, Vezhen Velchovski and Vladimir Penev.
14 October 2009 » The concert 100 years Todor Kolev, marking the 70th anniversary of the Bulgarian actor Todor Kolev, was held in NDK Hall 1 in Sofia, Bulgaria. It was directed by Stefan Valdobrev.

25 September 2008 » The performance Hamletmaschine by Heiner Müller, directed by Bernhard Eusterschulte, featuring Stefan Valdobrev, had its premiere in the Theatre Bulgarian Army hall in Sofia, Bulgaria. The project is a coproduction between TART Produktion (Germany), Theatre Bulgarian Army (Bulgaria), Theatre National Du Luxembourg (Luxembourg) and Theater Rampe (Germany). After having its first performances held in Sofia and Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Hamletmaschine will also be played in Stuttgart, Germany and Luxembourg, Luxembourg in year 2009.

The premiere of the new Stefan Komandarev film 'The World is Wide and Salvation Lurks Everywhere', featuring Stefan Valdobrev as an actor and as music composer, would be held on 14 March 2008 at 7.30pm in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, Bulgaria. The screening is part of the official programme of the Twelfth annual Sofia Film Festival.
A concert featuring theatre music written by Stefan Valdobrev will be held on 13 March 2008 at 10pm in Backstage Club, Sofia, Bulgaria. The setlist is similar to the one presented during last summer's concert in Prague, the Czech Republic (photos can be seen here).
The Sofia Film Festival will feature the Bulgarian premiere of Stefan Valdobrev's short film 'Hide' - his graduation work from his film directing course at the film academy FAMU in Prague, the Czech Republic, which he graduated in 2007. Two screenings of the short are part of the festival programme - on 12 March 2008 at 6.30pm at the Odeon and on 18 March 2008 at 1.30pm at Cinema House.

Stefan will be heading for the Czech Republic again this October as he will be composing the score of the performance 'Le Malade Imaginaire' (The Imaginary Invalid) by Molière. It wil be staged at the theatre Klicperovo Divadlo in the town of Hradec Králové by the Bulgarian director Nikolaj Penev.
Right now Stefan is recording the soundtrack for the new Stefan Komandarev film 'The World is Wide and Salvation Lurks Everywhere'. The film is expected to be finished by the end of year 2007.

At the end of June Stefan graduated his one-year-long film directing course at the film academy FAMU in Prague, the Czech Republic. His graduation work - the short film 'Hide' - was shot by the cameraman Antonio Riestra and a multinational team.
